ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

WHAT ARE SWIM FINS FOR?
A fin is a piece of swimming training equipment to work the lower body. Swim fins are ideal for swimming faster, for longer. You can simultaneously work on your heart rate and strength training on lower-body muscles (thighs, glutes and calves, as well as core stability)
FIN LENGTH
SHORT BLADE 35/36: 30 cm 37/38: 31.7 cm 39/40: 33.5 cm 41/42: 35.3 cm 43/44: 37.1 cm "Short blade" fins: ensure a good kicking frequency and maintain a higher heart rate. Motion is very close to the "natural" movement.
STIFFNESS
VERY SOFT FINS Stiffness is characterised by the density of matter, so the more rigid a blade is, the greater muscular exertion will be, the softer a blade is, the more efficient and sweeping the kick will be. It is the resistance of the blade that will generate the type of exercise desired (cardiovascular or muscular exertion)
FOOT POCKET
FULL FOOT FINS The foot pocket of a fin holds the foot in place when kicking (important for an efficient kick) so take the time to try on the fins before buying. It is important to check that the foot fits well in the foot pocket and the uncovered area (to prevent water from entering). It is important to choose the right size. There are 2 types of foot pockets: full foot and open heel.

Not as good as the old style

We've been using Decathlon Fins for a few years. The new style fins have an extra bit on the back to make it easier to pull on, unfortunately this bit now rubs your feet. Unhappy with the new style.

    Brand response :

    Dear Jen,

Thank you for your recent feedback. We are sorry to hear that design of our new fins is not as suitable for you as was the previous model one. We will forward your feedback to the Nabaiji brand to make sure they are aware of potential issue with new design. Please visit your local store or sue the online procedure for full refund or exchange.
The next model up is very popular in our stores and here is the direct link if you would like to try it: https://www.decathlon.co.uk/silifins-short-fins-black-id_8392325.html
Once again apologies for any inconvenience caused.

    Kind regards,

    KORNEL
